About the Role

PlayPickleball.com is looking for a skilled offshore video editor to support our growing YouTube channel. The channel focuses primarily on pickleball tutorial and educational content, so this role requires both strong video editing skills and a solid understanding of pickleball terminology and gameplay.

This editor will work closely with our team to turn raw instructional footage into clear, engaging, high-quality YouTube videos.

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube videos focused on pickleball tutorials, drills, and strategy
• Cut and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging final videos
• Add text overlays, lower thirds, callouts, and basic motion graphics when helpful for instruction
• Sync audio, clean up sound, and ensure professional pacing
• Follow brand and formatting guidelines for YouTube
• Make revisions based on feedback in a timely manner
• Organize files and maintain consistent workflow standards

Requirements

• Fluent in English (spoken and written) — must clearly understand pickleball terminology, instruction, and feedback
• Strong understanding of pickleball (rules, shots, strategies, and common language)
• Proficiency in professional video editing software such as:
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Final Cut Pro
• DaVinci Resolve
• Experience editing educational or tutorial-style YouTube content
• Strong attention to detail and storytelling clarity
• Reliable internet connection and ability to meet deadlines
• Comfortable working with cloud-based file sharing (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.)

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience editing sports or instructional content
• Familiarity with YouTube best practices (retention, pacing, thumbnails, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics or animated text
• Experience working with creators or brands in the sports/fitness space
