We are hiring a VIP Event Operations Assistant to join our Executive Office team to deliver the Australian Open 2026. This is a full-time (Max - Fixed Term) based at Melbourne Olympic Park until February 2026. As this is a seasonal role, we require full availability and flexibility across the summer months, December – February. If you're ready to help us serve up real impact, we’d love to hear from you. About the role In this role you will be responsible for: Supporting the VIP invitation process for Australian Open events, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are updated. Collaborating with the VIP Admin Assistant to manage digital ticket distribution and ensuring all RSVP changes are actioned across databases and key documents. Recording and managing special requests, travel details, and access requirements for high-profile guests. Assisting in the collation and distribution of invitations, passes, and accreditation both onsite and in advance of the event. Providing front-line guest management support, including responding promptly to enquiries and troubleshooting last-minute changes to ensure a seamless VIP experience. Supporting VIP hosts across all AO and TA events to ensure premium guest experiences are delivered seamlessly.

About you To be successful in this role you will: Have a high level of computer literacy and troubleshooting skills.

Bring previous experience in events, corporate, or VIP administration.Demonstrate outstanding communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with VIP stakeholders. Remain calm and solution-focused under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Show initiative, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities while working both independently and collaboratively. Be flexible with working hours and fully available during the event period. Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check. What’s to love?
