About the role: 

*This role is a New York City based HYBRID position. Candidates must be located in NYC, and willing to come into the office on a hybrid basis.*

Fubo is looking for an exceptional Front-End Web Engineer, Marketing with an eye for conversion-driven design to join the marketing team. 

As a marketing web engineer, you will work closely with the amazing creative, product and design teams to craft intuitive and user-driven web experiences focused on acquisition and subscriber retention. You will directly contribute in the ideation and execution of new acquisition strategies, conducting rapid A/B experimentation on out-of-the-box solutions.

We are looking for an engineer who is HIGHLY driven to make an impact on company growth, knows the importance of code quality, is not afraid to try out new technologies, and above all has a strong desire to continuously grow with the team. 

Responsibilities include:

• Architecting, designing, developing, testing, maintaining and improving marketing web applications for user acquisition and retention efforts
• Challenging the status quo by planning and developing new web experiences against our current standards using A/B test methodologies, and reporting on the results
• Working with our business development team to create seamless user experiences in concert with their affiliate partners, many of which are global brands
• Collaborating with product team engineers to create immersive, personalized web experiences for prospective users 
• Analyzing the performance of web marketing initiatives using analytics software
• Working quickly and autonomously while managing your own backlog 

 The ideal candidate will also:

• Have experience developing Web Applications using React, Redux, as well as frameworks like Next.js or Gatsby
• Be comfortable working from Figma wireframes and collaborating with designers
• Have some familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Be an SEO whisperer who knows how to build and maintain pages that Googlebot can’t resist
• Have some experience working with responsive and fluid email templates that look great across different devices and services
• Have familiarity with key networking concepts, like CDNs, caching, cookies and URL forwarding
• Be proficient in interfacing with API endpoints and integrating JSON data with front-end applications
• Enjoy working in a fast-moving startup environment where individual contributors are trusted and depended upon to set technical direction

Front-End Web Engineers must have:

• 5+ years of experience in delivering customer-facing web experiences
• Strong knowledge of immutability concepts, CSS, and responsive design
• Strong knowledge of A/B testing concepts
• Strong debugging and performance optimization experience, with advanced proficiency in using browser developer tools
• Experience using digital analytics software for measuring web performance
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience using Source Control (Git)
• Familiarity with at least one mature MV* framework

Fubo’s minimum base salary for this role if hired in New York City is $115,000 per year; maximum base salary for this role is $160,000 per year. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Fubo's annual cash bonus plans, unlimited PTO, and a full range of medical benefits. Final offer amount will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location and other business considerations.
