JOB SUMMARY: The Youth & High School Football Coordinator will advance the mission of the Denver Broncos Foundation by supporting the planning and execution of all youth and high school football initiatives, including flag and tackle programs and activations. This role will assist with event logistics, communications, and on-site operations, while also providing essential administrative support to ensure the department’s programs are executed efficiently and effectively.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative / Event Support: 

This position is responsible for a broad range of administrative duties supporting the Community Impact department’s youth and high school football initiatives. Core responsibilities include but are not limited to: Managing ALL IN. ALL COVERED. school participation agreements, managing talent requests (cheerleaders, alumni, and Miles), submitting Branding Iron requests, organizing event photos, and assisting with social media content. Financial duties include: Completing NFL Foundation grant applications and processing internal check requests for programs such as Futures, Coach of the Week, Game of the Week, and Jamboree of the Week. Additional responsibilities include: Maintaining coaches database, industry research, and contributing data, photos, and written content for the annual Community Impact and Club Metrics Reports.

Event Planning & Logistics:

This position will be instrumental in the planning and execution of logistics for all youth and high school football events and programs. Programs include, but are not limited to: ALL IN. ALL COVERED, Futures Football, NFL Flag, High School 7-on-7 and Linemen Challenge, Coaches Support initiatives, High School Fall Sports Media Day, and Game/Jamboree of the Week.

Tracking & Impact:

This position will assist with youth and high school football impact data collection and tracking including but not limited to: Event/program attendance, school engagement, youth and high school football participation trends.

Gameday & Training Camp:

This position will support all Community Impact programming around Broncos Training Camp and gameday activations. Activations include but are not limited to: Community Corner, Kids Zone, Coach of the Week, Youth Football Salute, High School Salute, Alumni Reunion Weekend.

Contributes to the team effort by performing other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Cover letter, resume and references
• Bachelor’s degree in sports management, sports administration, social impact, business, communications or another related field
• 3 months - 3 years part or full-time experience working for a nonprofit, collegiate or professional sports organization, or related organization
• Proficient in computer skills and computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)

PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Experience in coaching, or working directly with youth and high school athletes
• A strong understanding of football
• Event Management
• Strong logistical and organizational skills, including scheduling, resource management, and on-site event coordination
• Detail-oriented with strong writing skills
• Experience managing volunteers, staff, or external partners
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with coaches, school administrators, youth organizations, and community partners
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, details, and deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to take initiative and manage projects assigned through completion with minimal supervision
• Proven experience to appropriately work with and around confidential information
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, internal and external, to the organization
• Demonstrated capacity to work as part of a team, as well as independently and address concerns and resolve problems as they occur

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary for this position is $52,000 - $60,000.
