Now is your time to become a game changer and join the workforce that will plan and deliver this extraordinary and unforgettable experience.  THE POSITION Reporting organisationally to the Reporting and Tax manager, the accounting analyst will be a key member of the FIFA26 Finance team, and work in close collaboration with the Procurement team and other key individuals responsible for delivering accounting.   The main responsibilities and oversights of the accounting analyst for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:   Processing and reconcile financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy and timeleness of journal entries in SAP. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, assess account balances, and analyze all working papers to ensure accounting and tax accuracy.  Support tax activities including preparation of statutory tax filings, application of tax laws and tax compliance matters. You will also maintain complete and accurate tax documentation. Maintain accounting records and databases, ensuring data integrity and completeness for financial reporting and analysis.  Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets in compliance with accounting standards and regulations (IFRS/MEXGAP).  Provide necessary documentation and information to auditors and contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.  Provide support for ad-hoc financial projects, analysis, and other duties as assigned by the Tax and reporting Manager or Finance team. The specific competencies we require for this position are: English proficiency is a plus  Bachelor’s Degree or similar level of education in Accounting or Finance field. Minimum of 3 years of work experience in accounting, audit, taxes, etc.  Consulting experience is a strong plus.  Understands the requirements MEX GAAP, IFRS and Tax reporting.   Strong Excel Skills. Experience in financial analysis, data integrity maintenance in financial ERP model (SAP is a plus)
