Associate Manager, PlayStation Plus Subscription Revenue 
San Mateo, CA (preferred), will consider US remote

The role sits within a team of 4 crafting and delivering the full year and quarterly growth strategies within PlayStation Plus - working with the wider commercial and engagement teams to deliver company objectives and growth goals. 

You will be required to drive subscriber growth and profit from the PlayStation Plus subscriber base by driving our upsell/upgrade strategy – moving customers up our tiers.  You will deliver our existing strategy, whilst adapting and learning from performance/customer data – feeding into our new strategy. It will be key to work alongside wider partners to understand performance vs targets and work on plans to help close gaps/drive growth. 

You will be required to work at a global level – understanding global vs local behaviors and adapting plans appropriately. This will involve working across all partner teams with colleagues in Europe, American and Asia to agree, communicate and deploy business plans. You will also be the subject matter expert on the Americas – keeping the wider group advised on trends, cultures, key purchasing windows etc. 

What you'll be doing:  

  • Create and deliver global business plans to deliver revenue growth objectives 
  • Collaborate with local and global teams to achieve core KPI’s, and deliver against local opportunities  
  • Own upgrade global ATL/BTL promotion plans, reviewing performance and running A/B tests 
  • Contribute to weekly global service trading meeting including creation of supporting materials 
  • Point person within Services and beyond for Subscription expertise in Americas 
  • Collaborating with and leading partners across growth, marketing, CRM and wider teams 
  • Lead on upgrade trends, opportunity planning and prioritizing our strategy to hit KPI’s  
  • Recognizing revenue risks and opportunities, creating mitigation/go faster plans where appropriate 
  • Communication of quarterly plans to secure consensus and feedback 
  • Inform, involve, and share with both global functions and regional functions 
  • Collaborate with the commercial trading team to build and agree forecasts

What we're looking for: 

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 4+ years of commercial/marketing experience, ideally in subscriptions  
  • Global ways of working experience with ability to lead/support international teams 
  • Ability to propose, craft and lead processes and business operations 
  • Expertise in the planning, execution, and leadership of business plans 
  • Creative problem solver passionate about best solutions for the business, partners and consumers 
  • Strong project and commercial leadership skills 
  • Awareness of the games and consumer entertainment market 
  • Strong understanding of business economics 
  • Experience of strategy creation and prioritization of multiple disciplined factors

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

$117,600$176,400 USD
