 Reporting organizationally to the Head of Workforce, the Workforce Recruitment Coordinator will help serve Workforce full life cycle recruitment efforts for the FIFA World Cup 2026 that for the first time ever, is hosting 48 teams and 1,200+ players across 3 countries and 16 venues. This role will be responsible for providing comprehensive recruitment administrative support, assisting in managing workforce operations, including the smooth coordination of onboarding tasks and activities. Further, this role will oversee the candidate experience through the employee lifecycle, coordinating schedules, managing correspondence, organizing meetings and interviews in support of the recruitment team, maintaining records and documents, assisting with logistical arrangements, and providing general HR administrative support to ensure smooth operations for the FIFA World Cup 2026. The main responsibilities of the Workforce Recruitment Coordinator for the FIFA World Cup 2026 include:  

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Workforce and Recruitment Teams assisting with various tasks and activities to ensure smooth functioning of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
  • Coordinate and manage schedules, appointments, calendars and interviews as required in support of the recruitment team, ensuring efficient time management and coordination of activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and coordination of Workforce Operations and onboarding activities.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, onboarding sessions, and events, including preparing agendas/content, coordinating logistics, and managing documentation.
  • Maintain records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information in accordance with established protocols and compliance guidelines, and assisting in data entry and management.
  • Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks and special projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic event environment.

    Our requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or similar level of higher education) preferred but not required
  • 6+ months of experience in an administrative support function
  • Strong communication skills – oral and written
  • Experience using an application tracking system or CRM
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Fluent in English. Spanish proficiency is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project), planning software and online collaboration tools (e.g. Monday.com or Success Factors)
