Media Evaluation Head - Europe
Reports to: Global Media Delivery Team Lead
Purpose:
Leading a team of 10-20 data analysts who are delivering outputs to client all over the world. You will be client-facing as well as liaising between Sales and Operations colleagues, managing complex client projects and internally coordinating with diverse media services to deliver clients solutions
Required Skills :
People Leadership: Proven successful experience leading, mentoring, and scaling a team of 10 to 20+ data analysts or similar technical professionals in the media analytics sector.
Data Expertise & Technical Acumen: Multiple years of demonstrated, hands-on experience using Python and SQL to extract, manipulate, and combine complex data from various sources. Must demonstrate the ability to coach and elevate the team's technical skillset.
Business Intelligence (BI) Mastery: High level of competence in utilizing Business Intelligence tools and platforms, notably Microsoft PowerBI, to drive data visualization, self-service analytics, and actionable insights.
Media and Sports Ecosystem Knowledge: Strong, comprehensive understanding of the global media and sponsorship ecosystem, including measurement methodologies, and the dynamic interaction between advertisers and media platforms.
Client Engagement & Communication: A minimum of three years of proven success in a client-facing role, with excellent spoken and written communication skills in English to translate complex analytical results into clear, compelling stories that deliver meaningful insights and commercial value.
Educational Background: A Master's degree or equivalent in a quantitative or technical subject (e.g., Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics) where advanced analytical and communication skills were key components.
Project Management Acumen: Proven experience managing and successfully delivering complex client analytical projects, using formal project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com) and managing diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Strategic & Operational Efficiency
Process Optimization and Automation: Proven, hands-on knowledge and experience in identifying, redesigning, and implementing process optimization initiatives that result in demonstrable improvements in data delivery speed, accuracy, and resource utilization.
Efficiency via Technology: A key driver of efficiency and standardized, repeatable business processes through the adoption and implementation of automation technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and other emerging data management platforms. This includes experience:
Leading the continuous improvement of services and products by embedding automation into workflows.
Being digitally literate and comfortable advocating for and implementing new technologies to improve the analytical product portfolio.
Business Acumen: Highly proficient in managing the financial profitability of analytical projects, ensuring that team projects consistently meet or exceed budget and efficiency expectations.
Collaboration: Adept at liaising between Sales and Operations colleagues, and effectively coordinating with diverse media services and solutions groups across a global organization.
