PrizePicks is looking for a Director of Communications to help build out our growing communications team. As a member of the Public Affairs/Comms team, this Director will take the lead on managing the narrative of PrizePicks as a top sports entertainment brand.

What you’ll do:

Work directly with our VP of Communications to help build, grow and manage the in-house communications team at PrizePicks, as well as aid in managing outside PR agencies.
Develop strategic communications plans to support key brand efforts, launches, announcements and promotions.
Form strong relationships with team leads across the business to ensure the development of integrated PR plans.
Work closely with digital and content teams to ensure all messaging is consistent and on brand.
Manage and recommend speaking engagements for C-Level executives as well as help maintain industry awards calendar.

What you have:

10+ years of communications experience – preferably a mix of agency and in house.
Strong knowledge of and passion for sports, fantasy sports and online gaming.
Robust media contacts and deep experience managing relationships with media on a global level.
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or Journalism – or equivalent work experience in a related field.
Impeccable written and verbal skills.

Where you’ll live:

This is a remote role so anywhere in the U.S. is fine. Occasional travel to our HQ in Atlanta, GA may be required.
