About the role Reporting to the Event Operations Manager, the Event Operations Coordinator plays a key role in the planning and delivery of the United Cup Perth. Working within the Operations team, you will help coordinate event logistics, stakeholder engagement, operational planning, and on-site delivery to ensure a world-class event experience. In this role you will be responsible for: Coordinating operational aspects of the United Cup Perth, including practice court operations, transport, ballkids, event activities, and functional area setup Supporting the planning and implementation of event infrastructure, services, player requirements, volunteer programs, and tournament functions Coordinating event bump-in and bump-out activities, including contractor management, signage installation, inductions, site access, and delivery schedules Assisting with compliance, risk management, workplace health and safety requirements, and supplier documentation throughout the event lifecycle Managing operational administration, including purchase orders, invoice processing, budget tracking, reconciliations, reporting, and post-event evaluations About you To be successful in this role you will: Have experience in sports administration, major events, or event operations, preferably within a sporting environment Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes within tight deadlines Possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across diverse groups Be a proactive, detail-oriented team player who can work both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Have sound computer literacy, strong administrative capabilities, and a genuine passion for sport and delivering high-quality events Hold a current Driver's Licence Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis West, including availability during the tournament period, public holidays, evenings, and the festive season What's to love?
