BODi is on a mission to build the Health Esteem Category! Having just launched a new brand (from Beachbody to BODi), a new platform, and a new app where fitness and nutrition is supported by positive mindset content, BODi breaks from the fitness and diet industry and ushers in the era of Health Esteem. Health Esteem specifically rejects the legacy fitness and diet industry playbook of pursuing a healthy lifestyle based on self-criticism – a playbook Beachbody used to abide by. But after observing the uptick in mental health challenges since the pandemic and seeing that 74% of Americans remain overweight or obese today, despite the efforts of the fitness industry, BODi had to make a change. The Executive Director, Partnerships will be responsible for leading enterprise-level partnership strategy and execution—driving alignment across distribution, content, and digital initiatives. This role requires a seasoned executive who combines strategic vision with operational precision, excels in complex negotiations, and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, forward-thinking leader with deep experience in content distribution, digital media, and strategic partnerships—someone who can shape long-term business outcomes and scale transformational opportunities across the organization. Partnership Strategy & Development Define and lead the organization’s overarching partnership strategy to advance growth, innovation, and audience reach. Identify, evaluate, and structure strategic partnerships that align with enterprise objectives and deliver measurable business impact. Build and strengthen relationships with MVPDs, OTT platforms, content programmers, and digital distribution partners. Lead negotiations for licensing, distribution, and long-term collaboration agreements, ensuring mutual value creation. Oversee the governance and performance of existing partnerships, including renewals, contract management, and partner satisfaction. Develop scalable frameworks and playbooks for evaluating, onboarding, and managing key partners. Partner with executive leadership to assess white-space opportunities and define partnership priorities across business lines. Performance & Optimization Oversee performance of the partnership portfolio to ensure strategic and financial objectives are met. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive partner integration success across content, product, and marketing initiatives. Establish and track KPIs, financial models, and ROI metrics to evaluate partnership effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities. Anticipate shifts in the media and technology landscape, evolving partnership approaches to maintain competitive advantage. Provide strategic input into pricing, packaging, and distribution strategies that support partnership objectives. Drive carriage and affiliate deals that optimize revenue and enhance brand visibility Cross-Functional Leadership Serve as a strategic thought partner to the executive team, offering insights and recommendations on emerging partnership trends and opportunities. Translate high-level partnership goals into actionable operational plans across internal teams. Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Technology teams to ensure alignment and executional excellence. Present partnership performance updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Market Intelligence & Strategic Consulting Advise leadership on evolving industry dynamics in content distribution, streaming, and digital media. Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies that inform partnership strategy. The applicable base salary range for each role varies based on several factors, including, but not limited to geographic location and job-related education, training, knowledge, and experience. This range may be modified in the future. The pay range for this position is: $177,800.00 - $225,000.00 In addition to your base pay, The Beachbody Company offers a top-notch total rewards package, including a comprehensive benefits suite, an annual bonus opportunity, an employee stock purchase plan, a 401k plan with company match, 12-week Maternity/Paternity Leave paid at 100%, employee perks & discounts, training & career development, and generous PTO.
