WORK OPTION: The NBA currently provides eligible employees the option of working remotely one day per week. Position Summary: Reporting to the Finance Controller—EME, this role will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day finance processes and tasks for our UK entity and EME region, managing the audit process and supporting various business processes such as due diligence, billing/accounts receivable, and travel and expenditure.   Major Responsibilities: Accounting: Ensuring complete and accurate month-end accounting for NBA UK Ltd Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations to be reviewed by the Financial Controller Manage the audit process with the external auditors and ensure timely filing of the statutory accounts and corporate tax return Implementation of internal controls and ensuring compliance where necessary Work closely with the business to ensure accruals are accurate and complete at year-end Monthly analysis of the EME P&L to ensure tracking against budget/projection  Help to address queries from the Global Controller’s group based in New Jersey Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required   Business Processes: Manage the travel and expenses process for the EME region, ensuring adherence to the company T&E policy  Run the financial due diligence analysis for potential new partners or renewing partners wanting to do business with the NBA Prepare the billing request for EME partners and liaise with the billing team in New Jersey  Follow up on outstanding customer balances across all revenue streams and prepare monthly ageing analysis/review for senior management Required Skills and Experience: Experience in SAP is strongly desired  Advanced Excel experience Prior experience with system implementations and upgrades is a plus Excellent working knowledge of UK GAAP, especially FRS 102 and US GAAP Strong understanding of foreign exchange transactions and their impact on financial statements Working knowledge of ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) Prior sports, media and/or entertainment experience preferred Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Proactive willingness and strong teamwork, task prioritisation and problem-solving skills   Educational Background Required:  1-2 years post qualified experience ACA, CIMA (or equivalent) qualified accountant   Salary Range: £55,500.00 - £69,500.00  Job Posting Title: Manager  We Consider Applicants For All Positions On The Basis Of Merit, Qualifications And Business Needs, And Without Regard To Race, Color, National Origin, Religion, Sex, Gender Identity, Age, Disability, Alienage Or Citizenship Status, Ancestry, Marital Status, Creed, Genetic Predisposition Or Carrier Status, Sexual Orientation, Veteran Status, Familial Status, Status As A Victim Of Domestic Violence Or Any Other Status Or Characteristic Protected By Applicable Federal, State, Or Local Law.   The NBA is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace.
