Job Overview

We are embarking on an exciting game development project and are seeking a talented Game Developer to join our diverse and dynamic team!

In this role, you will collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to create and enhance core gameplay mechanics. You’ll be responsible for backend development tasks such as implementing, debugging, and optimizing gameplay features and systems. You will also take ownership of specific components or features of the game, ensuring high performance and scalability.

To thrive in this position, you need strong C++ programming skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for game development.

 

Reports to

Engineering Manager

 

What will you do?

  • Develop backend features for gameplay systems using C++.
  • Collaborate with designers and artists to implement and refine gameplay mechanics.
  • Work with or own proprietary game engines Optimize code for performance and scalability in a client-server architecture.
  • Contribute to team success through strong communication and collaboration skills.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Strong proficiency in C++ programming with a focus on backend development.
  • Understanding of client-server architecture, state machines, or ECS architecture.
  • Familiarity with game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity, and tools like Unreal Blueprints.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and verbal).

 

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Previous game development experience
  • Knowledge of networking concepts for multiplayer games.
  • Previous exposure to UI development or JavaScript
