Are you a dynamic sales professional looking for an exciting challenge? Join Koa Health as an Independent Growth and Business Development Consultant, where you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our reach through innovative partnerships.
Your mission: to identify and collaborate with resellers, business integrators, partners (B2B, B2B2C), and affiliates, ensuring Koa’s cutting-edge mental health solutions enhance their offerings and deliver exceptional value to their clients. This is a non-W2 position based in the United States.
Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, you’ll work closely with Koa Health's US Commercial teams. We seek a creative and proactive individual contributor with domain expertise, ready to thrive in an early-stage environment. Your role is to devise and implement inventive sales strategies, while also acting as the customer's advocate to shape product and marketing directions.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with commercial leadership to craft and execute a sales strategy, setting ambitious targets within your market.
- Employ imaginative sales techniques to uncover market opportunities and generate new revenue streams through third-party collaborations.
- Lead a complex sales process, combining networking and outbound approaches to build a robust sales pipeline and advance deals to successful agreements.
- Gather industry intelligence to provide key insights and feedback, bolstering Koa Health’s value proposition.
- Negotiate contracts that drive revenue while balancing internal resources with client needs.
- Provide market and competitor intelligence to identify sales opportunities, ensuring our products remain top-tier and competitive.
About You:
- Over 5 years of sales experience in third-party and partnership sales, with a strong and current network.
- Proven success in selling mental health or other virtual/digital care solutions in B2B, B2B2C, DTC, or other indirect or affiliate models.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- A positive, adaptable, and independent thinker who thrives on new challenges.
- Naturally curious, with examples of how this curiosity drives your work.
- Honest and accurate in communications and team interactions.
- Proficient with CRM (Hubspot) and other sales technologies.
- Understanding of the sales process from lead generation to closing.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Passionate about Koa’s mission to make quality mental health care accessible to all.
- Skilled in structuring, negotiating, and closing sophisticated deals with executive leadership.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Tenacious and optimistic in handling changing situations.
