Join SkyBox Labs as our new Junior Security Analyst in our Burnaby Studio! In this brand-new role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting both our IT Security and Desktop Support teams, ensuring the maintenance of a secure and efficient technical work environment. You’ll collaborate with the IT Security team to identify and prevent cyber threats, safeguarding our studio's digital landscape, and partner with the Desktop Support team to provide day-to-day IT assistance to our employees.

A snapshot of your role:

Perform system monitoring, reviewing system and application logs, and monitor alerts from various sources

Triage security incidents and phishing alerts

Participate in vulnerability and risk assessments

Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets

Assist the IT Security team with investigations, incidents, and projects

Provide front-line support for technical issues for PC client workstation hardware, operating systems, applications, development game consoles, printers, mobile devices, and other technical-related hardware and software

Diagnose, assess, and resolve issues

Support holistic IT needs and the technical work environment

Sound like you? This is what we're looking for:

3+ years experience in an IT support position

Strong OS background including Windows 10

Knowledge and experience working in Active Directory and EntraID (Azure AD)

Understanding of server-side components and applications including web, applications, and database infrastructure

Knowledge of basic network protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, SMTP, SNMP, HTTP, HTTPS, as well as network hardware

Understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity

Knowledge of computing and mobile endpoint management, security, and tracking

The base salary range is $50,000 - $75,000. The stated pay scale reflects the range that SkyBox Labs reasonably expects to pay for this position. Your base salary will be determined by various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, skills, and experience.
