RCX Sports Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation committed to providing children in local communities with access to sports. We believe in the power of sport to build character, foster teamwork, and instill discipline, all while providing a sense of community. Our mission is to make sports accessible to all children by providing programming to positively impact youth sports, subsidizing fees for kids to play and providing financial assistance to league operators to ensure they can offer these opportunities.  

The League Operations Specialist will play a key role in executing and enhancing the operational success of RCX Sports Foundation leagues nationwide. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of officials and volunteer coach management while contributing to league expansion. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of youth sports operations, a passion for community engagement, and the ability to manage logistics while fostering meaningful relationships with coaches, officials, and site partners.  

Job Responsibilities: 

Officials Operations 

• Lead the full scope of official operations for all RCX Sports Foundation Leagues.
• Coordinate and manage official assignments to ensure seamless game-day execution across all leagues.
• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with officials’ assigners across all regions and programs.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop a robust network of officials ensuring each receives impactful pre-season and in-season training. 

Volunteer Coaches Operations 

• Create and implement strategic retention plans to increase volunteer coach engagement and seasonal return rates.
• Design and manage a coach incentive and recognition program to promote satisfaction and performance.
• Facilitate coach training sessions and meetings ahead of each season to prepare volunteers for success.
• Distribute weekly communication to coaches with key updates, resources, and support.
• Maintain and deepen ongoing relationships with coaches to foster a positive, collaborative league environment.
• Monitor and analyze seasonal coach return rates to inform retention strategies and program improvements.
• Proactively recruit volunteer coaches to support continued league growth and program improvements. 

RCX Sports Foundation League Growth 

• Contribute to the national expansion of league operations by identifying and developing new programs.
• Research and secure new venue locations to support league growth and accessibility.
• Propose and pilot innovative program ideas to expand the RCX Sports Foundation’s reach and impact.
• Establish and nurture relationships with venue directors to secure long-term, quality programming spaces.
• Partner with League Operations Coordinators to drive participation and engagement within existing leagues.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to support the overall success of the Foundation. 

Education & Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 4-6 years of experience in the youth sports landscape 
• Prior experience in youth league or event operations is necessary
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders (youth, parents, coaches, officials, etc.) 

Additional Position Details: 

• Travel: Up to 15% of the time
• Work Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week), Monday-Friday with some weekends required
• Work Location: Hybrid (Roswell, GA or Sylvan Lake, MI) – We anticipate this role will work approximately 2 days per week in one of our offices.
• Compensation Structure: Expected starting salary is $60,000/year salaried exempt. Our pay grades are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus & benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability, 401(k), Paid Parental Leave, Unlimited PTO, Monthly Wellness Expense Reimbursement and additional voluntary benefits.
