CNBC is seeking an organized and process-driven Manager of DTC Partnerships to drive the growth and operational success of our premium subscription business. As CNBC expands its direct-to-consumer (DTC) offerings, this role will serve as the execution lead for partnerships that drive subscriber acquisition, improve retention, and enhance product capabilities.
You are the operational owner responsible for taking high-impact DTC deals, from third-party bundle distributions to fintech product integrations, and integrating them into subscriber experiences.
The ideal candidate lives at the intersection of Product, Growth Marketing, and Business Development, with a keen understanding of the subscription funnel and a passion for the evolving financial news media landscape. You will be an internal point of contact for execution, moving projects from signed contracts to launch and eventually, achieving strategic goals. You must be adept at managing timelines, navigating technical requirements, and ensuring that all internal stakeholders are aligned and delivering on commitments.
DTC Partnership Launch and Implementation: Own the full launch roadmap for all subscription-focused partnerships. You will be a key player in the integration of CNBC’s DTC offerings into partner platforms.
Performance Tracking: Conduct regular audits of partnership performance in collaboration with the Growth marketing team. Identify which partners are delivering on their goals and opportunities for improvement.
Executive Reporting: You will build and maintain performance dashboards that provide leadership with real-time visibility into how partnerships are contributing to DTC goals. Lead regular internal review sessions on partnership performance.
Cross-functional Subscription Lead: Act as the central “traffic control” between external partners and CNBC’s internal DTC teams (Product, Engineering, Growth Marketing, Editorial etc.). You will translate complex distribution or technical requirements into actionable sprints for functional teams.
Product and Capability Improvement: Partner with the Product team to leverage partner capabilities that improve the CNBC premium subscriber experience. Identify opportunities for new and existing partners, to fulfill capability gaps in the product roadmap.
Partner Troubleshooting: Serve as the first responder for any operational or technical issues that arise with a partner, working quickly with internal technical teams to find and implement solutions.
