Job Description

Overview /Objective

The Business Affairs Coordinator (Part-Time) will work closely with producers, creatives, and other executives providing day-to-day support for the content creation process.

Responsibilities

  • Draft standard template releases and related agreements for productions
  • Coordinate deal requests and track outstanding agreements through execution, distribution, and filing (internally and externally)
  • Manage cross-departmental operational trackers and status reports
  • Review deals to synthesize information and create summaries to guide the Films leadership team and other relevant stakeholders
  • Attend production planning meetings with Producers, Talent, and Field Operations teams to understand logistics of upcoming shoots
  • Review content for any potential issues, legal or otherwise
  • Train and monitor interns

Required Qualifications

  • D. from an ABA accredited law school, or a combination of a four-year degree in Business Administration (or related field) plus four years of relevant work experience as a contract administrator/transactional paralegal in a law firm, legal department, or business affairs department

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in business/legal side of media and entertainment industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, AirTable

Salary
$35$35 USD
