This role is to cover a sabbatical leave of absence. We are looking for someone who is available to start in January 2026. We require someone who will be onsite in our office in Denmark and also be able to travel to our studio location and to our office in Germany, if required.
The role requires a blend of people operations expertise, strategic project delivery, and effective operational day-to-day management.
People Operations
- 5+ years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a business partner or similar role
- A strong understanding and experience of European employment law, specifically in Denmark and Germany, with the ability to provide guidance on compliance and best practices
- Support people managers and employees with performance discussions, team development, engagement and conflict resolution
- Responsible for monthly payroll processing for Denmark, Germany and USA.
- Compensation and Benefits knowledge
- Hi Bob systems superuser, with proven experience able to update employee records, build reports and establish KPI dashboard, use of modules such as L&D compensation and benchmarking would be useful
- A demonstrated ability to handle HR data, generate insights, and maintain data integrity, reflecting strong data literacy
Compensation and Reward
- Experience with pay transparency legislation and requirements for 2026
- Experience of building reward frameworks including compensation reviews, salary benchmarking, bonus and equity.
- Using benchmarking tools such as Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, Radford or other reward methodologies
Talent and Development
- Experience of talent review processes
- Partner with manager to identify training needs and career development support for employees
- Support performance management process and tools
Office support
- Oversees external office manager (4 hrs/day) in Copenhagen.
- Supports basic IT issues and general queries from colleagues in Copenhagen.
- Supports German colleagues with people related queries for example eg. time registration and local HR needs.
- Contact person to CPH landlord/facility management.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a fast-growing company, scale-up or similar dynamic environment
- Hands-on experience with the entire employee lifecycle, including payroll, reward and compensation, onboarding, employee relations, recruitment and performance management
- Ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities, balancing day-to-day operational tasks with the delivery of strategic HR projects.
- Experience of using Hi Bob HRIS (This is essential and non-negotiable)
- Ability to translate overall strategy, purpose and values into our ways of working
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with employees at all levels
- A proactive and flexible mindset with the ability to oversee multiple priorities and adapt to change, demonstrating the ability to work stand-alone and contribute to the wider team.
- Proven track record in Danish employment law and DK/EU legislation in general
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus
