We are seeking a R&D Engineer (Computer Vision). You will work as a part of “Interactive experiences” squad. We use on-device computer vision to help users track their progress and measure fitness performance. It includes strength and flexibility tests, interactive workouts and body composition analysis. We are a very fast growing company (our user base has increased more than 10X during 2023). One of our core values is fast time to market - nothing beats feedback from users. Our tech stack is PyTorch, OpenCV, onnx, MediaPipe, streamlit, Docker and AWS. 

Responsibilities

• Develop new fitness assessment and interactive workout experiences: prototype, curate dataset collection, build models and algorithms and prepare them for production

• Collaborate with fitness science team to build exercise tracking system - rep counting, posture correction, movement type classification

• Improve accuracy and feature set of existing systems: fitness tests and body composition analysis - work with user feedback and data to improve the experience

We expect that you have

• 3+ years of professional work experience in R&D / Computer Vision

• Great software engineering skills

• Ownership of projects from concept to release

• Fluent English level

Beneficial skills

• We provide SDKs for iOS and Android teams, so basic knowledge of Swift and/or Kotlin is a plus

• Preferably, a degree in Mathematics, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Highly interested in a fast-paced development environment, experience working in startups is a strong plus

• Passion for learning new things and continuous improvement
