FanDuel Group is looking to add a Responsible Gaming Senior Manager to its Partnerships Team. Responsible Gaming is one of the key components of FanDuel’s long term strategy to build a first-class sports betting platform. We cannot be successful if we don’t protect customers who may be at risk for Responsible Gaming issues—all customers should only engage with our products if it makes sense for them, and if they play, they should only play appropriately and safely.

The Responsible Gaming Senior Manager will spearhead the continued development and execution of Responsible Gaming (RG) marketing strategies, with a focus on league, team, and talent partnerships and related programs. Key responsibilities include overseeing RG marketing initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate responsible gaming into FanDuel’s partnerships, with the aim of normalizing RG beliefs and behaviors and promoting positive social norms. Additionally, the Responsible Gaming Senior Manager will support internal employee-facing efforts to promote a culture of RG and represent the company externally as FanDuel expands its RG partnerships and collaboration with a range of stakeholders and organizations. 

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Collaborate across cross-functional departments (e.g., Partnerships, Marketing, Communications, etc.) to plan, develop and execute fully integrated and strategic marketing initiatives to support the company’s Responsible Gaming mission.
  • Lead the relationship with partners in the Marketing organization to integrate Responsible Gaming into the company’s league and team partnerships and represent RG with these partners.
  • Develop and manage the FanDuel Responsible Gaming Ambassador Program, including partnerships, related campaigns, and activations/events to promote RG education and awareness.
  • Own planning and project management for annual company Responsible Gaming event in September
  • Draft and deliver content for internal and external Responsible Gaming communications, including social media copy, key messaging documents, event scripts and employee communications.
  • Own internal process to review and assess new talent partners to mitigate RG risk 
  • Manage RG research projects in partnership with Marketing Insights team
  • Support year-long Responsible Gaming team reporting needs, including quarterly submissions of key metrics and audit workstreams, for Responsible Gaming Marketing projects
  • Support the development of Responsible Gaming strategic planning initiatives and ongoing stakeholder management requirements.
  • Liaise with external partners and organizations as required, including industry groups and non-profits

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, in marketing, partnerships or communications; experience in the gaming industry or other highly regulated industries a plus
  • Expert in managing concurrent projects in an ever-evolving, fast paced landscape while maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience 
  • Strong presentation building / PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a very fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and out of comfort zone.
  • An exceptional team builder and team player
  • A self-starter with energy to follow-through and own the outcome

The applicable salary range for this position is $124,000 - $155,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.

Our salary intelligence, powered by our AI algorithms, has calculated an estimated range for this position between $90,000 - $120,000 . Please note that the actual salary for this position may vary, as it is dependent on various factors including but not limited to experience, location, and market dynamics.
