Job Description

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Senior 3Cs Engineer to focus on implementation and fine-tuning the systems for camera, player movement, and control on Project Sirius – an original video game combining beloved aspects of The Witcher world with immersive multiplayer gameplay.
Our ideal candidate is able to work across disciplines with design, art, and other engineers in implementing high-fidelity gameplay. Most importantly, you care deeply for the player, understand what motivates and inspires them, and know how to build systems that fulfill those needs.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Focusing on the 3Cs of Character, Camera, and Controls, the person in this role will work closely with designers, animators, and other engineers on system prototyping and implementation, ensuring the systems built meet the project code standards.
  • Develop and implement systems in-engine in a multiplayer environment, using C++ and Blueprints.
  • Communicate and collaborate across departments as it pertains to 3Cs systems: work closely with gameplay design and engineers, as well as production in managing the prioritization, implementation, and scope of the game’s systems as they pertain to camera, controls, and character.
  • Follow the code quality standards set by the team.
  • Collaborate across disciplines in achieving the overall vision of the game.
  • Solicit and incorporate feedback from team members regarding existing systems.
