Job Description

The National Football League (NFL) is hiring a senior, globally experienced marketing leader to build and lead our International 1:1 Club Managed Services—an internal “agency” that delivers personalized, compliant, and localized fan engagement across 20+ markets for all 32 Clubs.

This role exists to scale 1:1 personalization internationally by using league data, platforms, and best practices, allowing Clubs to accelerate fan growth with quality, speed, and trust. You’ll own the strategy, operations, governance, and performance of a high-volume, multi-market service that executes 4,000+ campaigns annually across email, SMS, push, in-app, web, and emerging channels.

You’ll lead a distributed team, partner with Clubs and league stakeholders, and ensure that experimentation and privacy-by-design are embedded in how we operate.

What You’ll Do

Lead a global personalization center of excellence

  • Own the international 1:1 managed service model as an internal agency for all 32 Clubs.
  • Define the service catalog, engagement model, SLAs, intake, and prioritization to drive predictable, high-impact delivery.
  • Ensure consistent execution across markets, time zones, and languages.

Run world-class operations at scale

  • Lead and develop a distributed team (~15 contingent associates) across regions to deliver thousands of campaigns with reliability and quality.
  • Establish operating rhythms, templates, QA standards, and training for high-volume execution.
  • Balance capacity and Club demand without compromising quality or compliance.

Drive international 1:1 execution and enablement

  • Orchestrate behavioral, transactional, and engagement signal–driven journeys across email, SMS, mobile push/in-app, and web.
  • Champion test-and-learn (A/B, multivariate, holdouts) to continuously improve relevance and ROI at scale.
  • Publish playbooks and best practices that enable local nuance with global standards.

Own data privacy, governance & regional compliance

  • Lead governance for international fan data and PII usage across the service.
  • Translate GDPR, CPRA, and market-specific rules into practical standards for Clubs and service teams.
  • Partner with Legal, Data & Analytics, and MarTech to ensure privacy-by-design.

Be a trusted strategic partner to Clubs

  • Advise Club leadership on 1:1 capabilities, personalization strategies, and market complexity.
  • Build adoption and trust through consistent delivery, clear communication, and measurable outcomes.
  • Surface market insights and opportunities to scale impact.

Align cross-functionally and report outcomes

  • Partner across International, Marketing, Clubs, MarTech, and Data & Analytics to align with league priorities.
  • Lead annual/quarterly planning to match Club demand, service capacity, and fan growth objectives.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on performance, learnings, and international trends.

What You’ll Achieve in Your First 6–12 Months

  • Launch & scale: Stand up (or refine) the global service catalog, intake, SLAs, QA, and reporting across 20+ markets.
  • Quality & speed: Reduce cycle times for campaign setup and approvals while improving error rates and deliverability.
  • Personalization depth: Expand beyond rules-based segmentation to journey-triggered and signal-based personalization.
  • Experimentation culture: Implement an experimentation framework (test library, win thresholds, rollout discipline).
  • Compliance-by-default: Codify consent and data usage standards that simplify execution and reduce risk for Clubs.
  • Adoption & satisfaction: Increase Club utilization and satisfaction through transparent prioritization and outcomes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in CRM/lifecycle/performance-driven engagement, with significant international experience.
  • Proven success in operating managed services, agency, or shared services models at a global scale.
  • Deep familiarity with privacy and marketing regulations and their operational impact across regions (e.g., GDPR).
  • Experience leading distributed teams and complex, high-volume operations across time zones.
  • Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders and client-like internal partners.
  • Hands-on expertise with modern MarTech (e.g., CDPs such as Adobe RTCDP/Salesforce Data Cloud/Segment/mParticle; orchestration tools such as Adobe Journey Optimizer/SFMC/Braze/Iterable).
  • Passion for building systems that empower local execution while maintaining global standards.

Preferred

  • Builder mindset: Experience standing up or scaling new operating models (internal agency, managed services, shared services).
  • Strategic storytelling: Able to distill complex data, international, or regulatory topics into clear decisions and plans.
  • Operational excellence: Exceptionally organized with a track record of managing high-volume, multi-market work without sacrificing quality.
  • Collaborative leadership: Thrives in matrixed environments; aligns stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Cultural fluency: Comfortable navigating diverse market realities; foreign language skills a plus.
  • Sector breadth: Experience in sports, entertainment, streaming, gaming, e‑commerce, or other global consumer brands.

Salary / Pay Range:

  • This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range.
