THE TEAM 
Programmatic Ad:s team develops a tool enabling our customers to reach broad audiences using display, video and audio creatives, while configuring targeting strategies to ensure the best performance to cost ratio. We are a cross-functional team, working closely with our clients to understand what problems they're trying to solve, striving to iterate in small steps to allow us steer quickly if our hypothesis isn't proving correct. 

From a technical point of view, we deploy multiple microservices using infrastructure-as-code to AWS, using services such as Lambda, RDS, DocumentDB, SNS, SQS, S3 and a few more. Both frontend and backend are written in TypeScript, communicating via REST APIs. Our choice for frontend framework is Vue.js and we get help from our platform team with building reusable components. We care about long term maintainability and believe TDD/BDD, pair/ensemble programming and iterative approach to refactoring and technical debt are the right tools to achieve that. 

THE ROLE 
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d) at Programmatic Sportradar Ad:s Team, you will be tackling all aspects of building scalable and performant services, from overall system architecture, data layout and data pipelines to API design and front-end UI. Become part of a cross-functional team and take on the responsibility of delivering functional excellence and value to the customer. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute and grow as part of a small, self-organised, agile software development team 
  • Build our advertising technologies - from understanding and helping to shape the requirements to creating fully functional user facing software 
  • Participate in designing and developing highly scalable, fault-tolerant systems with a strong emphasis on quality, observability, and security. 
  • Coach and develop team members by providing feedback and technical guidance 

YOUR PROFILE

  • 3+ years of professional experience in agile software development, using one or more high-level programming languages (note: we use TypeScript so willingness to work with TypeScript is necessary) 
  • Professional experience with back-end and databases technologies. 
  • Professional experience with a modern front-end framework like Vue.js, React or similar. 
  • Experience building microservice-oriented solutions in cloud 
  • Strong customer focus, sense of ownership, and effective communication skills 
  • Passion for clean code and testing 
  • Understanding of OOP fundamentals 
  • Keen Interest in new technologies and learning

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.

Due to the top inner-city location, we are excellently connected to the public transport network and the cycle path network and are therefore very easy to reach.
