Job Description

Overview /Objective: 

The Senior Manager, Finance is responsible for managing the annual budgeting, quarterly forecast and close variances for entire NFL Films business including Production, Internal and 3rd Party Production, Licensing, G&A and Capital Expenditures.  The Manager will work in a collaborative fashion with senior leaders of the organization and departmental heads to ensure budgetary accuracy, process optimization, and improving overall control footprint.      

Responsibilities: 

• Manage forecast submissions and consolidation of several budgets including production, post production, field acquisition and audio engineering into executive summary view.   

• Perform real-time rolling forecast, quarterly business reviews and other ad hoc budgetary models to support business needs. 

• Develop and maintain title comparable models.  Perform ad hoc analysis for greenlight process for new production ideas.   

• Provide high level analytics to include resource utilization, year-over-year trending, cross show comparisons, production profitability analysis, and other tactical planning activities to optimize operational business decisions 
• Work closely with production and operations teams to understand budget variances and identify risks & opportunities  

Required Qualifications: 

• B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics 

• 7+ years’ experience in Accounting 

• Ability to manage and analyze big data sets 
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experience with sports media & entertainment industry 
• Experience with TV production budgeting applications
