The Corporate Development (CD) team at Dream Sports drives M&A and investments for Dream Sports, India’s leading Sports Technology company. Driving the group's vision to "Make Sports Better" the CD team acquires and invests in companies across Sports content, Sports commerce, Sports tech, Sports gaming and Fitness tech, including applications of new-age disruptive technology such as Gen AI, AR / VR and Web3 in sports.
Your Role:Demonstrating experience in Corp Dev, M&A ,JV, etc.Drafting and negotiating transaction documents such as SPA, SSA, SHA and Term sheetsConducting due diligence and managing riskManaging existing investments including ongoing compliance and subsequent fund raisesBecoming subject matter expert in the areas of - fantasy sports, gaming, sports streaming, content, e-commerce, AI, fintech etc.Providing advisory and transaction support on cross-border transactional issues while adhering to FEMA, RBI and FDI regulationsCollaborating, communicating and coordinating with internal stakeholdersQualifiers:Minimum 8 years of PQE experience in a Corp Dev set up, Law firm, Fund or managing a portfolio/ part of founders office is preferredPrior experience in deal-making/ transactions and related legislations as Companies Act, FDI, ODI, commercial contracts etc.Prior experience of Fundraising/IPOAbout Dream Sports:
