As a Senior Manager, Product Development at EFG, you are surrounded by some of the brightest minds in gaming. Our hierarchies are flat, and your ideas and opinions are constantly in demand. Quick decision-making allows us to create products & events which shape and define the nature of the esports and gaming market. You will be part of our Product Development team that is responsible for the conceptualization, development, implementation and oversight of holistic gaming concepts and ecosystems that allow us to realize our company mission to ‘create worlds beyond gameplay where players and fans become community’.
Requirements
What you’ll do:
- Serve as the strategic rudder and daily leadership in the Product Development team and build and implement ecosystem lifecycles, systems of collaboration and help serve and elevate all ecosystems across EFG.
- Concept, development & implementation of overarching vision and strategy for comprehensive esports ecosystems, with a focus on creating sustainable and scalable live and broadcasted experiences.
- Ensure ecosystem strategies align with broader business objectives and are able to generate value for our four key stakeholders (game publishers, game communities, commercial partners and EFG)
- Provide support for our game partnerships team in the business development phase of ecosystem creation and pitches, providing esports creative, strategic and business-focused expertise.
- Collaborate with colleagues to drive ideation and development across ecosystems.
- Work cross-functionally with game ecosystem owners, product managers, business development, operations, production, and our digital platform teams as necessary.
- Develop strategies that allow our products and ecosystems to remain innovative, engaging, and ensure they align with our company's vision and standards.
- Stay abreast of esports and live/show/broadcast entertainment, their related trends and industry developments and utilize these insights to ensure our ecosystems remain competitive and relevant.
- Support and build holistic ecosystem business plans from start to finish and communicate them in the right format and context (e.g. Powerpoint, Word, etc.)
- Work closely with our production and operational teams to implement and level-up creative solutions for existing products as well as building new initiatives and work on roll-out and implementation plans..
- Collaborate with our internal data and platform teams and cross organisational functions to understand player and fan behavior and trends, and then use that data to inform strategic decisions to drive continuous improvement of our products.
- Assist in evangelizing our products and ecosystems to various cross-functional teams to better serve our business goals.
- Build board, executive and cross-org reports and presentation on Product Development initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create exciting brand partnership, media or other monetization opportunities.
What you need:
- Experience in developing digital products / experiences;
- Great abilities in creative thinking, problem solving and cross-team collaboration to push towards mutual team and company goals and ambitions;
- Great people skills and the ability to be a team player and bring people from across the organisation and motivate them on the journey ahead for initiatives being rolled out;
- A unwavering curiosity and general open-mindedness to everything new and a desire to challenge the status quo;
- Ability to quickly learn and understanding complex structures / products;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to carry out several tasks at the same time;
- Experience with creating conceptual presentations and communicating esports related concepts to various stakeholders;
- Very good English language skills, both spoken and written form;
