About the right team member

The Senior Manager, Talent Management and Development is a key leadership role within Mindbody’s People & Culture Team, responsible for developing and implementing strategic talent processes worldwide which will empower leaders to run high performance organizations.      

About the role

  • Develop the strategic approach and design of talent processes and capabilities to identify, develop, and retain top talent across the Mindbody organization. This may include designing performance calibration and review processes, workforce planning and succession planning, and scalable leadership development programming. Solutions must be designed in partnership with key stakeholders and meet the needs of a diverse global audience.   
  • Build strong, strategic partnerships with the HR Business Partners, P&C Leadership Team, and cross functional stakeholders to develop and implement talent strategies and programs  
  • Lead a team of talent development professionals to develop and maintain learning and development programming and processes that strengthen high-potential leaders within the organization; provide coaching and development opportunities to ensure the team has the skills and capabilities to deliver on the learning and development strategy  
  • Provide coaching and guidance to business leaders on various dimensions of talent management. Partner with DEI Manager to champion diversity, equity and inclusion within the talent management process 
  • Leverage talent-related technologies to analyze talent metrics, identify strengths and opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to address gaps. Manage our technology partners to ensure flawless system execution. 
  • Stay current on trends and emerging practices to ensure Talent Management stays relevant and continues to meet the business objectives.  

Skills & experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience  
  • Strong experience creating and implementing talent management and/or learning and development strategies  
  • Solid experience leading and developing high performing teams  
  • Strong background with program or project management experience; strong level of ownership and attention to detail 
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive clarity, set an agenda and effectively manage change in a fast-paced, global environment 
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills; strong executive presence 
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
