The Senior Vice President, Business Development - Corporate Partnerships, in conjunction with senior executives, leads the PGA TOUR’s enterprise-wide new business sponsorship development strategy and revenue generation efforts.

Responsible for identifying market opportunities, cultivating executive-level relationships, developing commercial solutions, negotiating complex agreements, and securing transformational partnerships that drive long-term growth for the TOUR.

This role works closely with PGA TOUR Corporate Strategy, Media, International, Events, Studios, Legal, Finance, and Partnership Management to bring new commercial relationships to market.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance or related field required.

Post-Graduate degree preferred. 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in business development, sponsorship sales, media sales, consulting, sports marketing, or related commercial functions.

Demonstrated track record of originating, negotiating and executing complex strategic sponsorship transactions, partnerships or enterprise growth initiatives.

Demonstrated success leading teams responsible for generating significant annual revenue growth, proven experience negotiating complex, multi-year commercial agreements.

Strong understanding of the sports, media and entertainment landscape, including evolving business models, partnership structures and growth platforms.

Proven ability to influence across organizations outside of direct reporting relationships and drive alignment among senior stakeholders.

Executive presence and communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite executive leadership, Boards and external partners.

Strong financial and analytical acumen, including experience evaluating strategic opportunities, business models and long-term value creation.

Experience recruiting, building and leading high-performing revenue generating teams and fostering a strong, collaborative culture.

Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed organizations and drive cross-functional execution.

Strong network and credibility across the sports, media and entertainment ecosystem, including relationships with strategic partners and industry stakeholders.

Responsibilities Establish and execute the overall business development sponsorship strategy for the PGA TOUR.

Lead the identification, prioritization, and pursuit of prospective corporate partners across targeted industries and growth sectors.

Develop C-suite executive-level relationships with Fortune 500 companies, emerging brands, agencies, and strategic partners.

Drive the acquisition of high-value sponsorship agreements and lead negotiations for complex commercial agreements through execution.

Partner with PGA TOUR Corporate Strategy leadership to identify new categories, emerging market opportunities, and revenue streams.

Evaluate market trends, competitive positioning, and partnership innovations to inform go-to-market strategies.

Collaborate with PGA TOUR Media, Events, Studios, International, and other business units to develop integrated commercial offerings.

Serve as a senior representative of the PGA TOUR with prospective partners, agencies, and industry stakeholders.

Build and maintain executive-level relationships across key strategic alliance partners and industry influencers.

Partner with senior PGA TOUR leadership on high-profile business development sponsorship opportunities.

Oversee development of sponsorship proposals, business cases and partnership presentations.

Lead negotiations from initial engagement through executed agreement.

Collaborate with PGA TOUR Legal and Finance to structure commercial terms and risk mitigation strategies.

Ensure alignment between commercial objectives and operational execution capabilities.

Lead and develop the Business Development organization, including sales leadership, prospecting functions, and supporting commercial resources.

Identify and manage team focus, needs and structure, based on evolution of overall PGA TOUR commercial needs.

Establish performance metrics, pipeline management processes, forecasting disciplines, and sales effectiveness standards.

Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and revenue growth.
