We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Technical Sourcer with studio gaming experience to join our Talent Acquisition team. If you have a knack for finding hidden creative and technical gaming talent and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, we want to hear from you! Note, this is a contract role that has flexibility in working style but requires in-office availability from time to time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and identify passive talent within the gaming industry for studio roles using a variety of platforms including LinkedIn, open web sourcing platforms, and Google.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for various gaming studio roles.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent in the gaming industry.
  • Build and nurture talent pools to meet the current and future hiring needs of the organization.
  • Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and effectively match candidates.
  • Adapt to changing recruitment processes and tools as we transform our practices.
  • Make informed decisions in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with recruiters and candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Utilize strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with candidates and team members.

Qualifications:

  • You will only be considered if you have at least 2 years of experience in a technical studio sourcing role within the gaming industry.
  • You should have a minium of 5 years of combined talent acquisition experience in recruiting and sourcing.
  • Proven ability to source passive candidates through various platforms including LinkedIn, open web sourcing platforms, and Google.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence and advise hiring managers.
  • Ability to leverage market data and use data to make recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of the skills and qualifications needed for gaming studio roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining talent pools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to develop rapport with recruiters and candidates.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle change and ambiguity with ease.
  • Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail.
  • Knows how to leverage culture to build excitement.
  • Has a strong commitment to inclusion.
  • Has a curious mindset.
  • Experience with Greenhouse or similar applicant tracking systems is a plus.
