About the role 

The Player Experience team is looking for a Manager of Trust & Safety to provide leadership to a fast growing Trust & Safety team. You'll ensure we command high levels of confidence from individual players, our wider community and strategic partners.

This role will lead our Trust & Safety strategy, with a focus on content moderation, game integrity, fair play, partnership building and responsible gaming. This is a key Trust & Safety leadership position, so you'll have a unique opportunity to influence how the team grows and develops! 

Your primary focus will be to build and deliver on our multi-year Trust & Safety strategy, set KPIs and service level agreements and lead our Trust & Safety team to excellence. Partnering with stakeholders and drawing insights from data will be second nature to you. You'll identify areas of opportunity and craft actions that lead to game-changing improvements in our Trust & Safety operation, positively impacting player outcomes. 

What you'll achieve 

• You will implement best practices for a scaling Trust & Safety operation that meets the needs of multiple games, with varying user-generated content, in various development stages
• Leadership of the day-to-day Trust & Safety operation; having a pulse on trends, insights, volume drivers, moderation actions, pain points, KPIs, quality, demand planning and more
• Build and maintain strong relationships with our vendor, platform & strategic partners, ensuring they deliver high quality, effective and efficient services that align with our goals
• Production of relevant reports and insights that drive meaningful action and improvements across the Trust & Safety operation
• Delivery of projects, initiatives & game readiness planning that enhance operational effectiveness, ensuring we have the right tech stack in place for high quality Trust & Safety services
• Design strategies and initiatives that ensure our games remain safe, welcoming and fun spaces to play; designing experiences that empower players and internal teams to achieve this objective

What you'll need to be successful

• A strong operational mindset and a bias to action. You enjoy building processes and partnerships, as well as getting involved in the day-to-day running of a busy operation
• A proactive approach, you’ll need to take ownership of issues and deliver solutions autonomously through effective project prioritization and time management
• Ability to procure, use, understand and visualize Trust & Safety data, tools and insights. You can identify trends, patterns and create impactful reports that drive action
• Strong leadership and expert communication skills, able to forge healthy partnerships with vendors, stakeholders, third party organizations and line manage senior individual contributors
• Able to create and own creative, aspirational multi-year strategic objectives within an ambiguous environment which tie into wider company goals
• A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn - we believe this is essential to our ability to stay ahead of the market and value this over years of experience.
