We are looking for a Venture M&A Manager to accelerate Almedia’s growth by owning our end-to-end deal strategy. This is a high-stakes, "0-to-1" operator role where you will move from thesis-driven sourcing to rigorous financial analysis and decisive execution.
You won't just be "analyzing" deals; you will be the company’s go-to lead for high-impact build-versus-buy choices. You will be responsible for building the models, designing the processes, and creating the investor-ready materials that enable our leadership and investors to move with speed and confidence.
End-to-End Deal Ownership: Independently source, qualify, and run M&A processes from initial outreach through to negotiation, IC materials, and handoff.
Build the Pipeline: Maintain a thesis-driven target universe and CRM-tracked pipeline with clear scoring and segmentation to enable rapid prioritization.
Drive Execution: Lead prioritized opportunities to signed LOIs or executed transactions, providing clear valuation rationales, deal structures, and integration plans.
Architect the Toolkit: Design and deploy standardized diligence and valuation toolkits—including integrated financial models and KPI benchmarks—to deliver crisp go/no-go recommendations.
Strategic Communication: Produce investor-ready equity stories and competitive benchmarks to support fundraising and define our product roadmap.
Technical Rigor: You build decision-grade DCF, comps, and scenario models. You pressure-test assumptions and define the KPIs that drive real value.
Process Excellence: You don't just follow a checklist; you create and automate them. You know how to time-box analysis, flag risks early, and increase speed without sacrificing quality.
Market Intelligence: You systematically map target universes and proactively cultivate relationships with founders, funds, and corporates to generate proprietary deal flow.
Strategic Storytelling: You can take complex financial analyses and communicate them simply to drive alignment and action across leadership and product teams.
A High Motor: You take initiative, set the pace, and remove blockers independently to hit outcomes aligned with our strategy.
You are an entrepreneurial deal-maker who prefers the intensity of a venture environment over the rigidity of traditional banking or private equity.
You are a proactive "owner" who builds the systems they need rather than waiting for a manual.
You have the financial "muscle" to run complex valuations and the people skills to navigate delicate founder relationships
