As a freelance German Transcreator and Copywriter, you will transcreate our various types of content and capture the Freeletics spirit and values in your words. You are creative, have a true passion for languages and love to play with words? Help us to make everyone understand what it takes to become the greatest version of themselves!

Your Responsibilities
  • Transcreate Freeletics content from English to German
  • Creative writing and localisation of marketing campaigns in cooperation with the English speaking copywriters
  • Cross-cultural adaptation of marketing copy - including email newsletters, push notifications, in-app messages, buying pages, etc.
  • Perform creative research to interpret the original copy in order to bring the intended message across, reflect the spoken German language and talk to the target audience’s emotions
  • Ensure that the Freeletics tone of voice is transferred to the German copy 
  • Master a volume of approximately 7,000 to 13,000 words per month

    • Your Profile
  • At least 2 years of proven experience as copywriter / translator / transcreator
  • German at native-level with excellent communication skills
  • Creative, with enthusiasm for the sport and fitness, health, motivation, nutrition industry
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a proactive attitude
  • A reliable, accurate and dependable team player who meets deadlines
  • Experience in the field of Marketing or Marketing Communications
