The Role

This position will supervise, train, and inspect the performance of assigned Housekeeping staff ensuring that all procedures are completed to the established standards. This person will assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to employees and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all conference rooms, pantries and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
  • Distribute daily work assignments and inspect work performed.
  • Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping staff to ensure service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service
  • Ensure that all housekeeping supplies and equipment are maintained and replenished as needed.
  • Monitor housekeeping staff performance and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Develop and implement systems and procedures to ensure efficient housekeeping operations.
  • Collaborate with Facilities Department to report and follow up on repairs and maintenance issues in conference rooms and public areas.
  • Collaborate with conference room and catering teams to ensure seamless meeting room set up for catering and events.
  • Reports any safety issues to management.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs and be proactive in leveraging resources to solve
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions
  • High level of organizational skills balanced with capacity to be flexible for unanticipated situations
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish and English).

Location

  • This role is on-site based in the Los Angeles office.

Compensation: The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $28.50 - $32.50. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
