Ansty Golf Club, based in Coventry, is looking for a Golf Operations Manager to join the team. As a Golf Operations Manager at Get Golfing CIO, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the golf operations, including tee-time management, golf shop operations, and customer service.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the golf facilities, including tee-time reservations, golf shop inventory, and equipment maintenance.
Ensure exceptional customer service by training and supervising the golf staff, dealing with customer inquiries and complaints, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to maintain the golf course in excellent condition, overseeing irrigation, pest control, and general course improvements.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote golf events, programs, and memberships to attract new customers and increase revenue.
Monitor and analyse financial performance, prepare budgets, and implement cost-effective measures to optimize profitability.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in golf operations, and implement changes to enhance the overall golf experience for members and guests.

Requirements

Prior experience in golf operations management, preferably in a similar role within the golf industry.
Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to oversee and motivate a team.
Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact with members, guests, and staff.
Good knowledge of golf course maintenance and golf shop operations.
A passion for golf with a solid understanding of the game and industry.
Proficiency in golf management software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as per business requirements.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
