We help everyday runners become outstanding by providing world-class training, coaching and community for everyone, whether you're improving your 5k time or training for your first marathon. To date we have built iOS, Android and Apple watch apps that help people achieve their goals by coaching them through the full journey and syncing to their favourite fitness devices.

We’re growing extremely fast and in November 2023 closed a new £5M funding round led by JamJar with participation from Eka Ventures, Venrex and Creator Ventures. Requirements

Who we’re looking for

Are you passionate about running and sportswear? Do you have a knack for organisation, creativity, and problem-solving? We’re looking for a Kit and Marketing Associate to oversee and elevate our branded kit as well as support in other areas of our business development team, from podcast to events and partnerships. This role combines operational excellence with creativity, helping us connect with our running community through high-quality kit.

What you’ll be doing

Kit management will be your main focus, including:

  • Managing the full kit lifecycle: from sourcing and inventory management to distribution and customer support.
  • Maintaining and optimising our Shopify store, ensuring an exceptional online shopping experience.
  • Collaborating with our design and marketing teams to ensure the kit aligns with Runna’s brand identity.
  • Working with suppliers to produce high-quality, sustainable apparel that our community loves.
  • Tracking sales and performance, reporting back with insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Managing inventory, ensuring we meet demand without overstocking.
  • Leading kit-related logistics for events, ensuring stock is available for promotions and giveaways.

We would also love you to support on other areas within business development. For example:

  • The upload and review process for the Runna Podcast
  • Working closely with the partnerships team to bring to life collaborative merchandise
  • Planning photoshoots
  • Supporting events alongside the rest of the Runna team

What experience we’re looking for

We care more about your passion and ability to learn than your years of experience. That said:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in sportswear, logistics, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Experience managing a Shopify store is a strong plus.
  • We’d love to see proven experience in coordinating projects.

A degree isn’t required for this role, however we do want to see some experience for this position such as personal projects, internships, or other work experience. Please highlight this in your cover letter.

  • Lives and breathes sportswear – You’re excited about creating amazing running apparel that runners will love.
  • Is highly organised – You thrive on planning, keeping inventory in check, and ensuring no detail is overlooked.
  • Brings energy and enthusiasm – You’re a self-starter who loves to dive in and take ownership of your work.
  • Preferably has some experience with Shopify – You’re comfortable managing an online store, tracking sales, and optimising for customer experience.
  • Has a passion for running – Whether you’re running your first 5k or tackling marathons, you understand and love the running community.

We offer a salary of £32,000-£37,000/year depending on experience plus equity in the form of Runna stock options. The role is London-based, coming into our Vauxhall office at least 3 days per week.

Our aim is to keep the interview process as straightforward and enjoyable as possible, and will consist of the following stages:

  3. Take home task (approx 60 mins)
  4. Present task & chat with Ben (Co-founder) and Holly (Chief of Staff) (50 mins video call)
  5. Office visit with Fran, Ben and Josh, in person office visit (60 mins in person + meet the team!)
