The Who, What, Why, And Where
We are looking for a market manager based in either Sydney or Melbourne to take the lead in the Australia/New Zealand region. We aim to create equal opportunity for all - unleashing their full potential. Are you the market manager who will guide us through getting there? Do you have a solid ability to understand the sports space we operate within and make market insights a cornerstone in our go-to-market plan for Australia/New Zealand? Can you attend events, inspire people to develop better athletes, demo our product, and convert them into leads?
The Market Manager generates awareness, trust, traffic, and leads through local initiatives and partnerships. You will have complete ownership of your region and be able to ensure that Veo is positioned as a cutting-edge technology partner within the rugby market. You will report directly to our APAC Market Lead, whose focus is to enable you to reach your goals and support you in conquering the market.
Key Tasks Include:Contribute to and deliver on the go-to-market strategy in your region.Sign key regional partnerships and develop them for growth.Reach semi-annual revenue targets through partner activations and sales enablement efforts.Track and develop leads generated through partners and ensure a smooth handover process to the sales team.Attend and support select events, conventions, and tournaments to expand the Veo network in your region.Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring they align with the company's goals.Drive co-selling and co-marketing activities with partners to increase sales opportunities.Map the partner's organizational structure and understand the key decision-makers to deepen relationships.Liaise with partners to solve issues, communicate needs, and create synergies.Analyze and report on partner initiatives, forecast strategic changes, and report on critical metrics.Identify, build, and strengthen partner relationships throughout a customer's journey to build awareness and adoption of Veo.Coordinate training, education, marketing, and enablement programs with key regional partners.Identify joint marketing opportunities with partners, such as webinars, co-branded materials, and events.Conducted sales presentations with partners for customers and prospects.Desired Skills:At least 3 - 5 years of experience in partner account management, sales, and marketing.A deep understanding of rugby and or football in Australia/New Zealand and a network within these sports.You are great with people and experienced at building and maturing partnerships.As a person, you are structured and ideally have experience with project management.Be able to create and implement market strategies ensuring sales and product promotion.You have advanced communication skills in English (both written and spoken).Ability to work in a fully remote environment, with a documented history of doing so, though with colleagues in the same time zone.At Veo, you'll be part of a thriving work environment where every day brings new excitement.
