We are currently looking for an Office Manager to join the Music team in our Wenlock Office (London Old Street). This person will be responsible for managing all aspects of office operations for Wenlock Office for Music UK. A very varied position covering many areas and the go to person for many people. See below a few areas this role covers;

  •  Wenlock office management – ensure the Wenlock office is professionally managed (cleaning, maintenance etc.).
  • Finance – working with the Finance team on budgeting and managing all direct operational costs of running the office including office consumables, supplies, service contracts (cleaning, plant & flower hire, maintenance etc.) and resourcing
  • Health & Safety – ensuring H&S compliance including, but not limited to, Fire Risk Assessments, Building H&S Risk Assessments, PAT testing, fire marshal and first aid training, ergonomic assessments & remedial measures as necessary are being addressed
  • Security – responsible for the security of the office demise including internal CCTV, management of the staff & visitor passes and access to the offices both during and after working hours
  • Social – Support internal committees with the smooth running of social and wellbeing programmes for the office
  • Reception – support the Receptionist to ensure reception is staffed and managed and offers a professional and welcoming entrance for clients and staff 
  • Meeting rooms – support the Receptionist to ensure high standards of organisation of meeting room calendars and set-up and clear-down of meeting spaces are maintained.

Requirements

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management and clients
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Ability to operate in a trust worthy and transparent manner
