Sportradar, the global leader in understanding and leveraging the power of sports data and digital content, is seeking a Backend Kotlin Developer for the in-game controller team in Trondheim. You will be working on a team that delivers scores, points serve, the ball bounces and other events from live matches in real-time.
The engineering team in Trondheim support the business needs of media houses all over the world. Working as a part of the Production Engineering Tribe, you will be responsible for implementing backend applications together with team members who receive all our live events in a global infrastructure.
We are seeing an increasing demand for our in-game product to support more sports to cover more sporting events like the NBA and ATP. The applications require high uptime and a global presence. You will be involved in delivering thousands of events per match to millions of end-users all over the world. Most of the daily tasks involve working with Kotlin, Kafka, AI coding assistants, Kubernetes, Gitlab CI/CD and other tools.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for development and creating state-of-the-art solutions, has a sound working knowledge of Kotlin, is familiar with Kafka, knows new and current technological trends, designs and development processes, as well as solution testability and maintainability.
