As a crucial part of our backend development team, you'll play a key role in solving complex problems, enhancing our systems, and scaling our mentality for growth.

Your Responsibilities
  • Build robust backends serving millions of users using Ruby on Rails framework
  • Actively contribute to architectural solutions and best practices
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, proposing solutions and developing caching strategies
  • Ship code to millions of users, ensuring a seamless user experience
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive unit testing strategy to uphold code quality
  • Share knowledge with the team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment

  • Your Profile
  • 5+ years of experience in building web applications that serve APIs
  • Proficiency in developing applications using Ruby, Rails frameworks, or similar technologies
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in an agile, cross-functional, and autonomous team environment
  • Experience using Github for collaboration within an engineering team
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies, such as RSpec or equivalent
  • Advocate for clean, performance-driven code
  • Strong team player, collaborator, and enthusiastic about sharing knowledge
