JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

The Licensing Associate plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the licensing operations for licensees within the NFL. This position involves handling all aspects of licensee onboarding, management, and coordination of premium activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across various teams and stakeholders. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for reporting and analytics on the NFL e-commerce businesses  
  • Partner management across key accounts contributing to the NFL e-commerce businesses, such as Fanatics and Amazon  
  • Help manage the integration of NFL Shop across NFL O&O platforms (I.e., NFL.com, NFL+, NFL App).  
  • Assist with the year-round marketing campaign for NFL Shop, across Television, Social, and Radio  
  •  Collaborate with NFL Shop and NFL Sponsorship to align on marketing and advertising opportunities  
  • Facilitate RSG reporting and Licensee classification  
  • Help manage NFL Shop Email and SMS campaigns with NFL CRM team 
  • Coordinate asset creation and delivery between partners (Fanatics, Amazon) and internal NFL teams  
  • Assist with NFL Shop inclusions and product selection in Thursday Night Football broadcast enhancements  
  • Oversee a portfolio of 50+ premium licensees. 
  • Review and provide feedback on licensee artwork submissions (5,500+ submissions annually). 
  • Review, edit, and approve/disapprove Licensee Premium Intake Forms  
  • Liaise with NFL Clubs and sponsors regarding promotional inquiries. 
  • Address and rectify licensee reporting errors and payment statuses. 
  • Develop & distribute updated NFL Premium Guidelines and Licensee Lists to Licensees, NFL Clubs, and sponsor contacts. 
  • Conduct presentations such as Premiums 101 for NFL Clubs & sponsors as necessary. 
  • Manage licensee audits and compliance. 
  • Serve as an internal resource for NFL departments on promotional giveaways. 
  • Create giveaway processes for NFL calendar events like Super Bowl, Draft, & NFL Flag Championships. 
  • Negotiate, draft, and distribute new licenses and renewal contracts to relevant parties. 
  • Setup licensees accounts in the Brand Comply system.

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • This job posting is for a position with one of the NFL’s third-party agency partners that provides services to the NFL. The individual selected for this role will be an employee of that third-party agency and not the NFL. All compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment are handled by the agency. The assignment to provide services to the NFL will be limited in duration but may be extended for an additional period by agreement between the NFL and the agency. 

Salary / Pay Range

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range. 

Salary
$30$35 USD
