Role overview:

As a Technical Project Manager at PlayStation, you will lead projects developing new software, and hardware technology for our Network Automation Team.

You will influence teams that craft, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve critical software systems.
You will work with key partners on gathering requirements, identifying risks, lead schedules, and communicating the status across the organization.
You will also work with both internal and external development teams to define project milestones, schedules, deliverables, and the progress of various projects.
You will influence the structure and procedures of the team to make it as effective as possible with room for innovation within this team.

What you’ll be doing:

Provide project management, multi-functional coordination, and communications to deliver project outcomes.
Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering efficiency, as well as meeting project goals and objectives.
Problem solving within fast-paced and constantly evolving environments, with the ability to bring order to ambiguous scenarios.
Experience developing and launching products that require collaboration between internal cross-functional tech teams and external partner teams.
Develop and own communication plans for communicating project status, big picture, challenges, and risks to partners effectively and proactively.
Work with the other groups to gather requirements on network expansion and product roadmaps to ensure appropriate delivery of capacity, facilities and projects in support of broader SIE and PlayStation goals.
Use and improve upon formal project management techniques including Agile methodologies.

What we’re looking for:

Minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience as a Project Manager with demonstrated ability in the networking, content provider or streaming industry.
Exhibits strong project management skills, tracking and reporting on projects with defined timelines and expected results, including a proven record of resolving delays and sophisticated project dependency issues (time, resources, scope).
Superb communication and organizational skills with the willingness and ability to work with multiple teams located in different timezones.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently under pressure, prioritize, and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
Highly motivated, self-starter who can balance problems efficiently and keen to respond with the appropriate level of urgency to situations.
Independent problem-solving skills and ability to run parallel tasks and accurately detail resolutions.
Strong working experience with Project Management tools (i.e., Atlassian suite), Agile and Scrum methodologies in leading technical projects.
Ability to prioritize well and articulate your product roadmap across business functions and geographies, whether in small group discussions or large-scale presentation.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals incorporating external partners
Experience working with video streaming and distributed services is a plus.
PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM certifications.

Salary: Annual salary paid across 12 month (different to other parts of Germany)
Bonus: Discretionary bonus, target level based on position level
