Technical Program Manager II – Social Applications
Technical Program Manager II in Social Applications will lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects on time and within budget. This role involves managing project timelines, resources, and customer expectations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements. They will work with developers, peers, designers, technical architects on the development of large-scale systems that support current and future social experiences on our network.
Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of technical programs, including planning, execution, and delivery.
Scrum and Agile Ceremonies: Lead the daily scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, retrospectives and quarterly plannings
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product management, design, and other customers to define project scope, goals, and results.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution.
Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all customers, providing regular updates on project status, achievements, and risks.
Process Improvement: Develop and implement standards for program management, continuously improving processes and methodologies.
Documentation: Build and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of Program / Project Management and Release Management experience with high-volume online user experiences.
Experience with Jira, confluence, portfolio management and other project management tools
Extensive experience with agile development methodologies and processes required, including experience with scrum master and product owner roles
Strong communication, cross-group collaboration, and social skills
Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills, which encompass communicating to executives, product managers, software engineers, and project managers
Ability to work with others at all levels, effective at working with geographically remote and culturally diverse teams
Prior experience as a software developer or tester
Ability to handle a feature through the entire development and release cycle
BA/BS/BSE in computer science, math, or equivalent technical experience
Proven leadership skills and a passion for building extraordinary social experiences.
Keen eye for detail and balance multiple simultaneous dependencies.
Ability to travel and handle projects with distributed resources sometimes in international locations
Strong sense of ownership!

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
